Four things move a quote: how much is going, the access at both ends, how much packing you want done, and how far it travels. On a cross-channel job, add whether it goes on a dedicated vehicle or in shared space — which usually comes down to how much your delivery date can move.
That also makes quotes comparable. If you are weighing us against another firm, check both have measured the same volume and assume the same packing depth. And on a European move, check both are quoting export wrapping rather than domestic — that is where a cheap quote usually hides.
